You will need to bring your own truck/trailer to haul away the goods and van. Suggest a 40-footer.

Due to Kidney Ordeal I will not be selling at the Reno HAN Swap Meet

 Back in mid-March, I had some problems with what I thought were impacts from the vaccine I had gotten at the VA for the virus.  Serious coughing, lower back pain, and stomach upset, so I went to the ER in Fernley, Nv and after some tests and x-rays, etc., they sent to the Reno Renown ER where I stayed going thru more test and cleaning out my system.  It was determined that the Reno VA hospital had been giving me 5 pills for high blood pressure, which I did not have, and over 500 mg pills for gout, which the medical nephrologist said was overkill.   Anyway, I no longer take the meds for HBP, reduced gout meds to 300 mg, but now all of that has caused some serious impact on my kidneys. 

I am seeing a Renown health medical nephrologist who is monitoring my blood pressure, gout uric acid, and kidneys to ensure I will not have to go on special kidney treatments. 

Based on the above I had to cancel my spaces for this year's Reno Hot August Nights swap meet and hopefully will recover for next year's event.  For the time being, I am selling online through my website at www.ronclaussentees.com, at my various e-commerce sites at bonanza.com/booths/RonTees, Grailed.com/ronclaussentees, and vflea.com/RonTees so you should be able to find the classic car or racing tee, ball cap, or flags there at the swap meet prices.

Reno Hot August Nites Car Swap Scheduled for 4-8 August 2021 at Reno Livestock Arena

 Last weekend, Western Pacific Events out of Bakersfield, CA has advised us that the 2021 Hot August Nights Classic Car event and exhibits are back starting the 2nd of August and running through the 8th of August 2021 in Reno, Nevada. 

Ron Claussen Associates, d/b/a Ron Claussen Tees will have at least four spaces set up at the Reno Livestock Arena off I-80 and Wells Streets. The venue for the swap meet is scheduled for setting up on the 4th with business through the 7th of August and tear down on the 8th.   Once we get our assigned space numbers we will post them so all of our customers can easily locate us.  We will be selling all of the classic car tees, flags, and caps, as well as NASCAR and drag racing event tees.  Any questions, email me at ronclaussentees@yahoo.com or leave your comments below.

PDRA tees are on my e-commerce sites now for sell

 PDRA, Professional Drag Racing Assn has released a few of their 2019 and 2020 drag racing event tee shirts.  We have been able to get about 19 of them that are left from these last two seasons. PDRA is similar to NHRA and they race back east at about 8 to 10 drag strips. 

We will carry them to the car swap meets in 2021 if they can open to the public. Currently, we have several drag strip tees from the southern California area. Most of them have been closed but printers are still making them for the various drag races.  See them on my e-commerce site as well.

Spaces T 14, 15, 16, 17 at Reno Hot August Nites Car Swap meet

We just got our notice and swap meet pass that our four spaces will be in row T, spaces 14,15,16 & 17 on the parking lot of the Reno Livestock Arena, just off I-80 on north Wells St., in Reno, Nv.

We will be selling tees, caps, flags, jackets, collectibles, etc.  Our prices for tee shirts will be $20.00 for small, medium, large and extra-large.  For the big guys, the price will be $22.00.  If you want to bundle them, they are 3 for $50.00.  Caps run from $10 to $15 and the flags are $20 each, with the jackets - prices vary.

If you are not able to make it to the swap, we will be in Turlock, CA the end of September on the fairgrounds.  Also, you can see a lot of our inventory on our web site or e-commerce sites.

Back from PI trip to see the Dentist, meet up with wife and buy a few things

HI..I just finished about 2 month trip thru Hong Kong to the Philippines.  First flew into Cebu and went to see my dentist there in Lapu Lapu City, Cebu.  the dentist is a female and she had done my lower partial last year and now to get my up partial done.  Arrived on the 10th of March, she saw me the 11th, pulled a tooth, did some other work, impressions and then I returned 2 days later for the fitting, etc.  She had to return the dental piece to the lab for some fine tuning, but got it back late that nite and was fitted and on my way back to the hotel.
 I departed the next day for the old Clark Air Base, in Angeles City, which now an international airport.  Stay at the Oasis hotel for a few days to see some business folks, and wait for my wife, Angelita to come down from the province to meet up with me.  After a few day together alone, we went back up to her Mom's place and then later to her house in Pozzarubio.  It was very hot during my stay, so I made a couple of trips up the mountain to Baguio to cool off.  Staying there 4 days and nites and later 3 days and nites.  I was site seeing, as years ago I used to be involved with our command's transportation conferences at Camp John Hay.  It was run by the Air Force as an R&R base during the Viet Nam war.  The hotels we stayed at were ok, but not Americanize as their buffets did not have food that Americans would normally eat. Plus they were not handicapped friendly.
 After staying up north for about 5 weeks, we returned to Angeles City to stay again at the Oasis Hotel, where we picked up our finished products, the die-cast Jeepneys, San Miguel Beer ball caps, and Clark Air Field ballcaps, plus Clark Air Base tee shirts and some biker tees.  All you can see on my e-commerce site at www.bonanza.com/booths/RonTees

We got caught up in the 6.1 earthquakes at Angeles City on the night before I was to depart.  The Clark terminal was closed down and I had to get a driver to take me to Manila to fly out to Hong Kong and on back to the states. All in a day of traveling....

Reno HAN Swap Back to the Livestock Area-Aug 8,9 & 10, 2019

Reno, Nevada Hot August Nights Car Swap Meet is moving back to the Reno Livestock Area on 8, 9 and 10 of August 2019.  No space assignments have been made, but keep in touch, as we will have four spaces.  Not sure of the swap lay out neither, as they have made some ground improvements, so you may be able to park on the grounds close to the swap area. 

Now we plan on doing the Turlock Spring Swap on the fairgrounds, we are against the fence at spaces FX 9 and 10; on the pavement.

Reno HAN Car Swap Meet spaces at Baldini's Casino in Sparks, NV has just been assigned and our's is row J, spaces 5, 6, 7 and 8.  Not sure where they are located, but they are in their parking lot, so look for our white Chevy van and white Ez-up with tee shirts and flags hanging or on display in the bins or on the tables that are set up.

2018 Reno Hot August Swap Meet is Aug 9-11 at Baldini's Casino Parking Lot

The Hot August Night Swap Meet has been relocated to the south parking lot of Baldini's at the corner of Glendale and Rock Blvd in Sparks, Nevada   I do not know my 4 space numbers or spots yet.  We will be there early on the 8th August to set up and will tear down the afternoon of the 11th of August.   We stay with our products, so if you know what you are looking for and we have it, it is your's for the price.  Tees start at $15.00 for adults, the big guys tees are $20.00, kids $5.00.  Of course we will bundle the tees at a reasonable price.  Ball caps $10 to $15 each with deals for purchasing more that two. We will have flags, Rebel, Harley Davidson, Chevy, Ford, Morpar and others all at $20 each.

Reno Hot August Nights Car Swap Meet, 9-12 Aug 2017

Find us at the Reno Hot August Nights car swap meet on the 9th thru the 12th of August 2017 at the Reno Livestock Arena, in Reno, Nevada. We will be set up at spaces T 14,15, 16 and 17 on the pavement.  Look for us there with our EZ-Up tent and white Chevy cargo van and all of those 4000 plus tees and ball caps displayed for sell.

The weather is very hot, so get out there early or come late...we will be there, rain or shine...not sure what the future will bring us, as we are having afternoon rain showers caused by the hot

weather build up.  It has been in the late afternoon or early evening when the rains come.

We will not be at the fall Turlock, Ca car swap meet, as the date conflicts with other scheduled matters.. 

As you know, I have put my business up for sale, asking $125,000.00 for the inventory, the equipment, the van, the web site, e-commerce locations, trade shows/swap meets data plus whatever taxes and commission that may be involved  This business has been around since 1982, starting out in Northern Virginia. 

Now, next month is the Reno Hot August Nights Car Swap Meet at the Reno Livestock Arena. We will be there at spaces T-14, 15 16 and 17 hopefully, setting up on the 9th of August 2017 and tear down on the eve of the 12th of August 2017. Trust the weather will be good, as right now it is in the 90's plus...no rain.
