Back in mid-March, I had some problems with what I thought were impacts from the vaccine I had gotten at the VA for the virus. Serious coughing, lower back pain, and stomach upset, so I went to the ER in Fernley, Nv and after some tests and x-rays, etc., they sent to the Reno Renown ER where I stayed going thru more test and cleaning out my system. It was determined that the Reno VA hospital had been giving me 5 pills for high blood pressure, which I did not have, and over 500 mg pills for gout, which the medical nephrologist said was overkill. Anyway, I no longer take the meds for HBP, reduced gout meds to 300 mg, but now all of that has caused some serious impact on my kidneys.
I am seeing a Renown health medical nephrologist who is monitoring my blood pressure, gout uric acid, and kidneys to ensure I will not have to go on special kidney treatments.
Based on the above I had to cancel my spaces for this year's Reno Hot August Nights swap meet and hopefully will recover for next year's event.
